A summery pincushion
I've been wanting to make a Heather Bailey pincushion for a long time. So finally, I got to gather some bits and pieces of summery fabric scraps to make a pretty pincushion. And oh, aren't threads and buttons beautiful up close? Sometimes we just need to move closer to see the beauty in the ordinary.

Pretty pincushion ! Love the pic of the buttons and thimble...lovely.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you pay attention so closely to the small things. That can be hard to do in this world.
ReplyDeleteAnd I am in awe of your hand sewing. I would like to get crafty, but without a sewing machine or sewing skills, or really much time to do new projects, I like to look at what others do and drool.
Your blog is drooly.
Oh, and thank you for adding me to your bloglist. That means a lot.
ReplyDeleteThe fabric is beautiful. What a neat pin cushion, I would have my sewing out all the time just so I could show it off.
ReplyDeleteI love this pincushion, great choice of colorful fabrics.:)
