Journal wrap and tropical blooms

by - Sunday, August 31, 2008

My weekend project for the week is SouleMama's Gratitude Wrap Project. I made it for my younger sister who is a busy, busy lawyer. I am motivated to take on a more complicated craft project if it is meant to be a gift. Perhaps the sister would need a handy, dainty case to carry a journal/notepad/pen to use during meetings or conferences or wherever. Amanda' Soule's gratitude wrap tutorial can be found here.

It's been a searing hot day today with blue skies and tumultuous billowy clouds. The hibiscus patch was just blooming away!

By the way, Elizabeth of EV Photochic is having a photography sale of her beautiful still life and decorative prints on her Etsy shop from Aug 27 to Sept. 3. Have a look see!

Have a beautiful Sunday!
