Cotton Friend's French style projects
On my desk is a Cotton Friend Japanese sewing magazine. Lots of zakka inspiration to add to my surroundings.
I enjoyed a slow Tuesday evening making these French inspired projects out of the free craft materials included in the summer 2007 edition of Cotton Friend, a Japanese sewing magazine. I pieced together the magazine's free antique embroidery box and I also fashioned a pair of printable linen pincushions adorned with lovely old world images from The Graphics Fairy. Aren't these pincushions sew romantic?
Have a wonderful week filled with surprises and good times!

At first I misread and thought it said Japanese sewing machine. This was great stuff to get free with the magazine and I like what you made thats such a cute picture on the pin cushion.
ReplyDeleteI love these pictures and projects and the color palette.
ReplyDeleteCreamy yellow, white, red. So soothing. Maybe I will go in that direction. Ever since I discovered yellow, it's like another world has opened up.
And those pincushion and embroidery boxes are to be worshipped.
So lovely pictures...hugs from sweden/Lotta
