My sewing kit, a recycled Cadbury chocolate metal tin box always looks like a mess with bits and pieces of embroidery floss all clumped up like dog fur! Quite a frustrating sight to behold since I have to untangle a rainbow of thread before I get to start stitching anything. Anyway, I found this lovely organizing idea from this neat brazilian craft blog. There is a cute spool template that one can fashion into a felt spool. I made some from plain cardboard. Now my unruly embroidery flosses look quite a bit organised.
I also received some cute blog awards lately! Thank you to Penny of Sewtakeahike and Suzie of Littlebusybee for the Kreative Blogger Award.
The lovely Clare of Clare's Craftroom also gave me a Lemomade Award! Thank you Clare!
I would love to share these two awards to the following inspiring, crafty ladies:
1. Cindy of Lucy's Tales from Home
2. Sonia of Cozy Homemaking
3. Suzanne of Create Fun & Mess
4. Chelsea Ann of Itty Bitty Birdy
5. Jojoebi of A Bit of This and a Bit of That
6. Thalita Dol
7. The lovely madeimoselle from Petit Details
8. Corry of Dutch Blue
Have a great week and thanks for reading!

My flosses are on the same little cards, and there's also a hole in them, and I have them organized by color, on a loop. It works fine for me.
Have a super nice day, sweet Christy, and thanks again ! :) xoxo
