Bonjour! I'm officially back from my Easter vacation! What a wonderful vacation it was! I sorely missed all your posts and happenings. I will catch up with all your blogs hopefully in a couple of days.
I managed to do some crafting during my break too! I found these super cute DIY cake and cookie kits and they are so addicting! Right now, I'm sewing a miniature strawberry cream birthday cake. I only have one cake/cookie kit left and I'm saving it for tomorrow's shop update! Hmmm, better to grab a box of DIY cake than a package of Mrs. Field's Cookies. It won't hurt your waistline that's for sure!
Look what I found during my meanderings! An old fashioned, lacquered wood sewing box ready to be filled with bits and bobs, button and thread and everything sweet and nice! Doesn't it look so ducky and charming? I just love it!
Some serious, no-nonsense craft books to add to my library--Reader's Digest Complete Guide to Needlework and Knitwit. I still haven't given up my dream to learn how to knit!
So lovely to see you all again! Have a fantastic week everyone!

ReplyDeleteWelcome back! I have to laugh every time you feature some of your new found vintage books. I always have them in my library... but I purchased them back when they were new! Glad to know a new gen of crafters still finds value in them. Love your sewing box. Over the years I've had sewing boxes but I never keep things organized in them. I'm much better with things in jars and baskets BUT I wish you much success with yours!
