Embroidery Craft: Stitching through the Seasons

by - Tuesday, August 31, 2010

Another (turkey) feather has just been added to Vicki's Haninger's crafty cap! The wonderful author of Turkey Feathers blog  and Blanket Statement has just released her second indie book Embroidery Craft: Stitching through the Seasons. As described by Vicki, the book is filled with more than 100 embroidery designs, 30 small embroidery projects, stitchery guides and tips. Best of all it is sprinkled with sugar, love, happiness and a spattering of polka dots here and there. Truly a delightful book that's a cross between a cute  Japanese embroidery craft book and a sewing book.

Vintage stitchery lovers can purchase the book on Createspace  and Amazon. The iron on transfer collection is also available on Vicki's Patternbee website. Fans of DIY vintage sewing can visit the Turkey Feathers Thrift shop  on ETSY for hard to find retro, vintage and out of print sewing patterns.

Visit Turkey Feathers now for a chance to win Stitching through the Seasons! The giveaway is open to everyone worldwide.
