Woodland creatures such as gnomes (and gnomettes) make their jolly appearance this time of year. These perennial craft celebrities  are adorable any season but they are really popular in the autumn time. I've been looking for gnome stuffie patterns  online but can't find any expect for the felted, knitted or crocheted ones. As I always say, " If you can't find it, make it."


Here's Gigi Gnomette enjoying a wee afternoon nap. Gigi's a storybook inspired kind of doll and makes a sweet naptime mate for kids. Let me know if you're interested in a pattern so I can whip up one this weekend.
