Homemade Bakery DIY: Stamped Cello Packaging
The holiday baking season is fast approaching and this year why not make everything handmade and homemade down to your packaging. You can save a few bucks if you make your own personalized, hand stamped cello bags for your baked or candy goodies.
Of course you can always buy printed cello bags from ETSY but if you want to go totally handmade it's worth to give this DIY project a try.
To make stamped cello, you would need the following supplies:
- Cello bags [Find them on ETSY or at your local bakery supply shop]
- Rubber stamps [Dawanda is a great place to find unusual rubber stamps]
- Stazon All Surface Ink [Available on Kawaii Goodies at ETSY]
Before you gather your supples and materials, make sure you have a particular design or pattern on your mind. The design would be the basis of the color of ink pad you will buy or the type of rubber stamp you will carve or have custom made.
Now, for the easy part! Stamping on cello is the same as stamping on paper. Just make sure your rubber stamp is fully covered with ink (but not too wet) so you get a nice imprint on your cello bags.
Oh, if you've got halloween themed rubber stamps why not make halloween loot bags? That would be crafty fun!
