Coffee Mug Cozy Pattern and Homemade Kahlua
What to do with leftover fabric scraps? Make them into cute coffee mug cozies of course! I tailored this pattern to fit a regular sized coffee mug. Most of the patterns I see on the web usually are made for paper coffee cups.

Today I have stumbled upon this awesome homemade kahlua (coffee liqueur) recipe from Veronica's Cornucopia. I love kahlua so this is heaven sent! As soon as I gather my ingredients I'll give this recipe a shot. I also hope that someone soon can invent and share a recipe for Homemade Bailey's.

Homemade Irish cream recipe, which is baileys
ReplyDelete250ml/9fl oz single cream
1x 397g/14oz tin condensed milk
350ml/12fl oz Irish whiskey
1 tsp Camp coffee essence
3 tsp chocolate sauce
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp almond essence
Preparation method
Sterilise the bottles for the liqueur: wash in very hot water or on the hot cycle of a dishwasher. Preheat the oven to 160C/325F/Gas 3. Place the bottles on a baking tray and dry in the oven for 10-15 minutes. Leave to cool.
Pour all the ingredients into a blender and blend on high for 30 seconds. Add extra Camp or chocolate to taste.
Pour into sterilised bottles and store in the fridge. (The liqueur will keep for up to two months.) Shake well before using.
Wow, thank you so much!!! ^-^
DeleteWow, your post worked like magic to get the recipe you wanted! ;)
ReplyDeleteBut I am writing to say just how very cute it is that the little bear is drinking from the cup in the photo, and the fabric with the bunny in the teapot. It's such a kawaii post, I was moved to post a little smiley face for it in response:
^_^ So cute!
