Botanical bliss and journaling joys
Of all the available printable 2012 calendars out there, artist Alice Cantrell's free herb/botanical calendar really caught my eye. I'm captivated by the fact that the field journal style calendar is a collaboration between her and her talented 14-year old daughter Anna. I adore the selection of herbs featured in the calendar and the useful tidbits of information regarding the herbs' healing and culinary uses. The calendar also includes a moon phase schedule, essential to every gardener or botanical enthusiast. Better download and print the calendar as it is still February.
Alice has several free downloads in her blog ranging from a garden notebook to a picnic plan (how quaint!). Visit Alice's ETSY shop for more collectible, printable treasures.
I also recently received beautiful, mori girl style journal from a sweet friend. So grateful for this gorgeous thing of beauty. Journaling is a habit I want to develop this year. With a little help from Kikki.K's journaling prompts, diary writing is going to be a lot of fun.
Happy Monday everyone! Mosaic Monday resumes next week.

What a beautiful post; what marvelous colours! It has inspired me to want to take a nature walk, and make all kinds of observations I would later record in a little notebook :)
