Crafty Quarantine: Dollhouse Haven
I hope you are all having a crafty quarantine! With the COVID-19 stay-at-home quarantine situation, we now have plenty of time in our hands. I have been trying new recipes, reading books that I never had time to read and of course doing craft projects that have always been in my craft bucket list. First on my list is this miniature DIY dollhouse project. I purchased the kit from 'Lil Haven. They have lots of cute dollhouse kits to choose from. I especially selected this pink bedroom dollhouse since I love doubledeck beds. I don't have a double deck bed in real life but at least in my dollhouse I can have one. If the quarantine extends, maybe I can challenge myself with this miniature greenhouse garden project.
Warning! This is a project for people who have lots of patience. When you start to assemble the bits and pieces of furniture, things can get quite frustrating since everything is so tiny. You also would want to complete the project at the soonest possible time.
I didn't work on the dollhouse in one sitting. I would spend 30 minutes assembling a specific dollhouse part and that's it. The next day, I would again spend 15 minutes working on the parts and accessories. Seeing the house take form and come alive day by day makes this project very rewarding.
