Recipe: Maple Mocha
Here's an easy recipe for folks who opt for dairy- free coffee minus the artificial sweeteners. This recipe uses real maple syrup as sweetener. Quite a perfect recipe for those lovely autumnal months but great to drink anytime of the year.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp pure maple syrup (or honey)
- 1 shot of espresso
- 3/4 cup barista grade soymilk (heated and frothed)
Directions:
1. Stir together cocoa powder and maple syrup.2. Prepare one shot espresso.
3. Heat soy milk by frothing.
4. Add espresso and cocoa maple mixture to milk.
5. Stir and enjoy!
